Kansas Medical Center acquires former Via Christi clinic
Kansas Medical Center has acquired a former Via Christi clinic in Andover.
As of April 1, the property, at 308 E. Central, was renamed the Andover Medical Clinic, according to Kansas Medical Center spokesman Malik Idbeis.
The family practice clinic will continue to be run by physician Stephen Lemons, Idbeis said.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The clinic has close to two dozen employees.
Physician Andrew Barclay, a former employee at the Andover clinic, chose to remain with Via Christi and is now a part of the family practice at 3009 N. Cypress in Wichita, according to a Via Christi representative.
